A Glorious Day!

What a great day I've had! I woke up and got some yummy fancy feast turkey. Then I hung out with Gramma and Mommy in the living room. Mommy had to go away and give a little bean a music lesson but she promised me we'd go "bye-bye" together when she came back! Know what? She kept her promise!!

She taked my leash out and led me back to the deck where we sat in the shade of the 'mbrella thing. It was pretty warm out but in the shade, there was a nice soft breeze. Oh the birdies I saw!! Mr. Cardinal was singing a lve song to Mrs. Cardinal who was singing right back to him. What a lovely duet :) It made me think of my Sweet Izzy and that made my purr thing go. The robins were teaching their little babies how to fly in the trees... The swallows were fluttering way up high in the trees and going in and out of their birdhouses that my Grampa placed in the branches a few years ago.

As I was laying in the shade, I felt the soft breeze on my belly and it felt like when Mommy kisses it. There were some squirrels who were busy chasing each other... oh and Chucky the woodchuck was grazing on some wild clover that grows in the backyard. What a purrrrrfect day!

What could possibly make this day better? A little stroll through the yard to visit some of the gardens. Here's a picture of the latest bloom! The miniature pink roses have begun to open up in the front yard. They collected some of last night's rain. Aren't they divine? There's more miniature roses in the front garden that haven't started to open up yet. There's a big bud on the yellow ones and the bright orange ones are beginning to open today so shmaybe they'll be completely open tomorrow! I sure hope so! They am real pretty!

Mommy taked lots'more pictures of the flowers and put them on her blog. You should go visit them when you can! Some of them came out really nice!

Here's some Siberian Iris that camed up over by the monsters with wheels.
Oh and just wait until KC sees what I found in the rhododendron bush! A great big bumble bee! I asked Mommy to take a picture of it but she said it didn't come out very good. I think it did! But in case you can't see the buggie, I pointed him out for you:
