Oh Come Home Ma!

So, mine Momma has been making young beans know about mewsic and stuff again. I hearded that it am not a job that will last much longer, but she has been very busy since there was snow on the ground outside. Lately, she has been staying until the sun thing almost goes all the way a'hind the 'partment next to us. Not past dinner or nothin', just...later than usual. She says it am a'cause the beans am making mewsics together and it am gonna be purrformed this weekend! "Oh Come Home Ma" am all about the old days when beans would ride on horses and say yee-haw and shoot guns and stuff. Momma comes home singin' at me sometimes too a'cause the songs am all way catchy. But I changed the words so that they make sense for me:

"I'm Jist a Cat Who Cain't Say No" am all about when I want to have by neck and chin scratched...
"Ooooooohhh come home ma where the poodin's waitin' for some food" am what I sing to her when I see her coming home from school...O-Tay Momma, I wants to go have some treats a'cause I've been such a good boy waiting for you every day. I can't wait to have you back to myself next week once the show's over!!
Now...about those treatsies...

Chillaxin'

The wind has been coming through the windows just perfectly lately making it oh so nice to do some nappies on the couch thing. That good fresh air is just what I need to start dreaming of crunchies and visits to Grammie's place.

Today am Labor Day. I don't know 'bout you, but I labor all the time. It's hard being this handsome and cute all the time, but a poodin' has to do what a poodin' has to do. So that's why it's so nice to hop up on the comfy couch thing, curl up and do some happy feet while the breeze tickles my fur. I've got Momma next to me and she's got her iTunes playing some smooth music that makes it so easy to mellow out... here's a few of my current faves:

David Paul am a musician that Momma knows oh so well. She wented to college with him, toured and performed with him and loves him lots. He's a good bean. His music is amazingly awesome :) Here's his website. Go there and listen to his music! When you're done, buy it. It'll make him happy!

If that doesn't do it for you, shmaybe you'd enjoy a funky, mellow tune by The Weather Inside. Click here to listen to "Streets of Jerusalem" which is also a free mp3 download if you're on facebook and go to the iLike app... dude...quality free music. P.S. Momma's favorite is "24/7 (I Can Feel Your Heart)"

Jeff Dueck is a bean Momma wented to college with who used to play the piano a lot for chapels. His song, "Better Days" is smooth and well...you need this song in your collection.

One more really good song that makes you wanna curl up and purr is "City Lights" by Peter Field. Peter am a good friend of Momma's. She's even had the pleasure of singing and performing some of his music with him in the past.

Nothing would make Momma and me happier than if you clicked on some of those links and purchased those albums. They're good! Promise!!

Momma's Post and other things...

Greetings All Animals and "Beans" :)
Just a quick note to say hello and that all is well by us. Yes there was a small fire up the hill from where we live, but I'm not sure if anyone even lives there anymore. It is owned by the garden nursery and sometimes they allow workers to live on site. It could have been an oven fire that spread through the kitchen, who knows. It did smell really good though (is that bad to say? I love the smell of burning wood).

We didn't get a chance to wish everyone a wonderful Easter so I'm taking the time to do so now. May the resurrection of Jesus touch your heart. Timmy and I were going to visit with Grammie for Easter but as soon as I mentioned going out, he popped his eyes out of his head and ran upstairs under a bed. When he says no, he says NO! LOL!! So I went alone and had a lovely visit with her. She adores the cards y'all sent her and thanks to some kind online friends, she is keeping herself busy by crocheting day and night.

My new job has brought such joys for me I cannot express how thankful I am to God that He opened that "door" for me. Recently, we had a band clinic where we brought the high school students of the orchestra and band down to the middle school and invited a touring college orchestra to play with us. What great fun!!

That's my friend and co-workers conducting the joint orchestra... it was so big that we couldn't fit it all in one shot! The whole percussion section is missing and a heap of strings too... They played through the middle school's music and we ended with "Pirates of the Caribbean" which was soooo much fun!

While at the library the other day, I had a good laugh for myself when I went to check out some books... this is what I saw:

Apparently, this cutie walks with her owner all the time... The lady said one day she dropped off a book at the library and didn't have a place to park her dog so she quickly brought her inside. She immediately flipped over on her back and stayed there the whole time the lady was in the library. She's now famous and when people see her coming, they peek their heads around the corner to see the silly girl on her back:

How can you not wanna go and scratch that belly!?! When I did, I noticed she had a tattoo! A little love heart with a number which signified she was rescued through a specific organization. It's how they kept track of their rescues.

Well, it's time to go take some medicine for my aches and pains. Yesterday I had a root canal done...the procedure was really cool but once the pain meds wore off, I could feel how tender my jaw was... My dentist is amazing. He even let me watch what he was doing with a mirror! I had a pillow and blanket to relax with and got to watch Rachel Ray while he drilled away... No pain at all. If anyone lives in North Jersey and needs a new dentist, he's worth looking up!! www.emdental.com
Bye!
