Moving On

You can't see me very well, but I'm there on the left. I was watching Momma. She taked Tangie outside yesterday and now he will forever rest amongst the hollyhocks that grow on the sunny side of the house. Tangie and I used to have a fake battle going on between the two of us but the truth of the matter is, he was a great little bird. But, he wasn't feeling very good and it maked all of us very worried about him. He's in a better place now and I will miss him very much. That's all I'll say about that.

I decided to lighten the mood in the house a bit. Here I am helping Grammie with her crocheting. She keeps the string in a bag next to her but I saw it moving and I HAD to show it who is the boss around here. I took a hold of it and ran into the hallway and around the corner into the bedroom. I heard a lot of laughing and giggling...that's when I looked up in time to see Momma with that camera thing.

Take THAT you naughty string!! Huzzah!!!

::fyi:: If you have a link to Tangie's blog, please be aware that it will be taken down soon so you may want to "unlink" to it. I will backdate all his posts and place them here on my blog.

Oh Timmy, we are so sorry to hear about Tangie. We will miss him. He was the first birdie we didn't want to eat.

Your darn Momma! Just when you think you've scored big with the string from the bag, there she pops up with the flashy box.
And that sounds like a lovely resting place for Tangie.

Sorry to hear about your birdie. Tangie was beautiful. Very trusting to let a top predator like yourself sniff him.

I can see your eyes, but only because I know you are there. How dos it feel to be invisible?

My condolences on the loss of Tangie, he will be missed greatly. Givin' your humans many headbutts and rubs will make everyone feel better. Try it, it works wonders. I woulda posted this sooner but I had to help with the new puppies.
