Purrthdays and Plays

This am a picture of my new friend.  Him am livings right next door to me!  When the air is nice and breezy and it am not so cold out, Momma opens the window and we sit and look at each other.  We don't say much out loud but we have some of the most fascinating conversations telepathically.  His name am Hunter.


Hunter am not always in his window, but when he is, we stare at each other for really long times. Do you see that great big black thing?  I don't like it a'cause it am in the way of looking at the flowers and birdies.  There's a bean that lives above Hunter that comes down and makes food things on it.  Momma calls it an eye sore.  I don't know why.  It doesn't touch her eye so how can it make it sore??



Momma has been oh so busy at her school this week! Her beans a'formed "You Am A Good Bean, Charlie Brown". This am a picture of Schroeter and Lucy. Them am getting ready to sing about Beethoven! Who knew Beethoven was such a famous kitten!! Wow!

Lucy is sitting with her younger brother, Linus. Him am in love with his blanket and sings a whole song and dances with it. It was one of Momma's favorite numbers. Here, Lucy took a survey to find out how crabby people think she is and when she finds out, she am all way sad. But, Linus comes and makes her feel all way better by saying, "...you have a little brother who loves you" and it makes everybean in the audience go "awww" and clap a lot.

Oh and here am Lucy again! She am helping Charlie Brown feel better about himself. Momma likes how the set stuff came out. She says it am looking exactly like what it looked like in the comics! The art beans did an all way good job!

This am Sally. She am Charlie Brown's little sister. Momma really likes her part in the play a'cause it a'minds her of Jules. She repeats things that the others say, she gets upset at silly things but at the same time, she am all way grown up and it makes Momma laugh! Her song "My New Philosophy" was a'formed a few years ago on the talking box by a famous broadway singer. Momma says Stephanie did just as well!

Here am the whole cast singing about Charlie Brown.  This am from the first song in the whole mewsical!  I can see mine Momma in the picture!!!  She am the 5th dark head from the left at the bottom of the picture.  She waved a stick at all the beans around her and they maked mewsic!  The beans on stage singed along and everyone in the audience clapped and maked happy sounds at them!  It was an all way good week for Momma.

For me, this am the most a'portant thing though. It was my purrthday yesterday! I camed to live with mine Momma and Grammie five whole years ago! I am six now and Momma says I look like a great big grown up kitten :) For my birfday, she gived me a great big can of fancy feast!! The WHOLE can!!! What a special treat!! And, she gived me a good long pet and brushed me and gived me kissies on my head thing. It maked me purr all day long :)
