Merry Chrissymus!

Chrissymus Eve found me at Grammie's place, celebrating with her. I gived her some nice pressies I thought she'd enjoy. Ribbon candy a'cause she am so sweet, she deserved a sweet AND a new calendar for the mew year! It am one that changes the picture every day and they're all kinds of kitty cats on it! I got to enjoy some delicious cat treats that she had ready for me. Oh they tasted so good going in my belly. My purr thing went a lot!

As I was watching out the window for signs of Santa Claws, I couldn't help but think of how blessed me and mine Momma am to have so many kind friends and family that lubs us so very much. It maked my purr thing go as I pontificated mine favorite Grammie :) I a'cided if I sat and watched, Santa prolly wouldn't come...he's like that. He waits until everybean am sleeping. So, I wented to sleeps too with Momma and it was all way cuddly warm!

I was all way a'cited to find when I waked up that Santa had come and left me a pressie! It am a new fishie toy and it smells like the most divine catnip I've ever sniffed in mine whole life. Divine I say!! I grabbed it and rolled around with it in mine paw things and kick-kick-kicked it and threw it in the air and everything! Momma laughed and said I was such a good boy.

Oh so comfy!!

While visiting mine Grammie today, I noticed that she finished a blankie she's been working on. It am for one of her aides that help her get ready and shtuff. I like it a'cause it smells like mine Grammie. Every time I see her, I curl up on it and since it was all folded, I had to be nice and only lean up against it. But it am oh so comfy!! She's got so many beans that want blankies! Them am all buying her string to make it with...and so she says she'll be all way busy from now until kingdom come (whatever that means!)

Balentimes Day

Here I am a month after mine boo-boo with the door! It am still hurty but getting lotsa fur back where Dr. Strazza had to shave. He's an all way good doctor you know.  I put on mine red scarfie and wented over to see mine Grammie for Balentimes Day!  Momma says that mine red scarfie makes me look dapper.  I don't really know that word but I hopes it means something nice.
I gived her chocolates with a kitty on the cover a'cause it am looking like mine cousin, Toby! They didn't have one that looked like me so we wented for the next best poodin' in the family... Grammie has trouble with her paw things so sometimes I try to help her out. Here I am trying to help her open up her chocolates. It was all way hard to do... 'specially when you don't have thumbs...
Now I'm a'tending to be a watchdoggie! Don't anybody come near Grammie's chocolate box or they'll get to meet my teethies all way upclose and purrrrrsonal!!! Mrrow!  Momma gotted Grammie some cinnamon thing that maked their tongues go on fire.  Beans can be so strange sometimes... why would you want something to burn your mouth!?
Grammie's window am the purrrfect width for me and my belly.  See all the fancy things Momma put up on the window to make it look pretty?  It's almost time to change them to something green!  Her window still says "Let it Snow!" and Momma hopes it does just one more time a'fore the winter am over!  Shh!!!  I can hear birdies from up here!  Them am down a'low eating bread things that one of the beans put out for them!  Oh it's so a'citing that it makes me chitter!!!!
This am mine favorite bean author. She makes words sound all way good and makes books out of them! Momma, Grammie and Auntie Deb have read all of her books! Knows what? She just wrote another once called, "Very Valentine" and you should shmaybe get it! I gotted to meet her and so did Momma! We was all way a'cited a'cause we have liked her for years! I'm even on her website reading one of her books!! When she met me, she knew just who I was a'cause of that! Oh it was all way a'citing!!! She even autographed a photo for me, ME! She's all way good :)

Hooray!

Today was a blog-worthy day.  Momma and me wented to our new home.  I went to go meet the landlord and get a good sniff of the place.  I approve!  There's three windows in the front and two in the back...plenty to smell the good fresh air and watch the beans and birdies (and from what I heard, other poodins!!)  While I was checking out the place, Momma was signing papers!

When we finally left, Momma gotted me in the car and said "welcome home buddy".  Knows what?!  That apart mint am ours!  How very a'citing!  We drived in the car for less than a minute and we were in front of Grammie's place!  I spended all day sleepings on her bed and getting treats and pets from her.  I let her hold me all the way downstairs and back up.  She likes it bestest when I do that.  I got told I'm a good boy by Momma and Grammie :)

I hearded that when we got home, I was gonna be getting lotsa more boxes to jump in and out of!  I learned the bad way that Momma doesn't like it when you jump in a box she's trying to fill with things.  She makes loud words at me every time I do it.  But those boxes are so tempting!!  They're everywhere I looks!  Methinks I'm gonna try to sneak into one and go hidey for a while :)

So much in one week...

Many things happened this week.  Mine Momma lost two Grammies.  Can you a'lieve that?  It was very sad and I really wish that I could find where they went, but Momma says that I won't find them.  She am not too sad a'cause they both lived very long lives 96 and 98!  

Well, if that wasn't enough, Momma tolded me that we am gonna move.  I saw her eye things get all wet when she found out about the apartmint she saw.  She says that we am gonna live there now.  She says it's gonna be a real nice place to live where I will get to see birdies and shmaybe poodins out the windows!  I will be very sad to leave where we live but...if we're gonna move together, it shouldn't be so bad. Right?  Know what?  The apartmint am right next to where mine Grammie lives!  I could see her and if I meow real loud, shmaybe she could hear me!  Isn't that a'citing!?  I'm a'cited like Momma, but we're both kinda a'scared a'cause we've never moved anywhere a'fore.  We both call our house, our only home.  But, methinks we'll be ok :)

Today, I wented to see mine Grammie.  I stayed close by her and when we wented down to the bistro, I snuck in under her wheelie chair and watched all the beans rolling around.  When we wented back up to her room, I got out of the magic room and runned all the way to her room by myself!  Grammie and Momma were all way proud of me for knowing which room is hers.  I know a'cause it smells like mine Grammie.  I knows to pass by the nurse stayshun and pass all the beans in wheelie chairs and go two more doors down until I see mine Grammie's door.

Today, I gotted to meet Elizabeth.  She am mine Grammie's roomie.  She am not always making sense but that's ok.  She was all way good today and camed over and pet me all way nice on the head.  She has a fake doggie that she calls Freddie.  

Sometimes when she am not good, she thinks Freddie am real and tries to feed him.  Momma thinks it's kinda cute and funny.  Today, she gotted a nice picture of her with Freddie.

All this news makes me tired so methinks I'm gonna go curl up somewhere...

Visiting Grammie

Here I am with Carol.  That's mine Grammie's bestest nurse bean in the whole wide world!  She has nice nails that she scratches mine back with and it feels soooo good!  I always purr when I see her a'cause I know she likes me a lot.  This is the first time she picked me up!  I cuddled down into her elbow and tried to sleep there... until the picture was over and then I jumped back on Grammie's bed!

And here's mine Grammie!  I lubs her oh so much.  She pets me and says such kind words at me.  And knows what else?  She gives me treatsies!!  She has them in her top drawer for when I come to visit!

I'm so used to going to visit Grammie now that I can walk on my leash from the parking lot all the way into the building and into the magic room!!  I know that when the doors close, I have to wait for them to open again and when they do, there's always a new place to walk outside... it's magic!  Momma calls it a lelevater.  (It's a magic room).  

When the doors open, I go to the right and look into each room I pass to see if mine Grammie is in there.  I do that until I find the right door and then when I sees her, I put mine tail straight up in the air and then trot into the room and jump right up on her bed :)  Grammie says I'm very smart to know how to do that all by mineself.  Everybean I pass in the hallway says I'm such a good boy and that I look like a doggie on my leash.  I don't mind...just don't ask me to woof!

A fun day

Today, the woo-woo trucks came real close to our house. They wented up a'hind where we live and spit cold water all over the house up there. It was all smoky and stuff. The wind was blowing the shtinky smoke smell into our house so Momma a'cided that it would be best to go bye-bye for a while. At least until the smoke cleared from inside our house.  Momma taked me to my favorite store! I gotted litter, stinky goodness and a new birdie feeder for outside my looking window. 

After that, we suprised Grammie. She's been missing me so I made sure she got lots of my lovin's all afternoon. After that, we wented back to the house. That's when Momma sneaked her phone thing out and maked this video of me. I'm not gonna tell her why but for some reason, I always like to jump up on the dashboard on the ride home from Grammie's. I don't do it any other time but Momma can always count on me goin' up there on the way home. I guess that's how she knowed to film me:

Grammie's Purrthday

Here I am with my Grammie!  I celebrated her purrthday with her and it was just wonderful!  Momma gotted Chinese food and it smelled divine!  Knows what??  She even let me taste some of the pork fried rice!  It made my belly happy.  I wore my Happy Birthday hat for Grammie along with a scarf that said the same thing.  I had them last year, but methinks that Grammie enjoyed seeing me in it more this year.  Look at how happy she looks!!!

So I wasn't very pleased with the fact that Momma was taking so many pictures of me.  It was 'mbarassing enough wearing that silly hat... but then she hadded to go and take like a million pictures!  That's why I look like I was ready to bite her.

Grammie gotted nice flowers from Momma's Aunt and I gived her a bag of chocolate.  Momma gotted her an iPod Shuffle and a nice pink shweater.  That shuffle thing even has Grammie's name on it!  Momma putted mewsic on it and the first song Grammie hearded was called "Happy Birthday Mom" and it maked Grammie smile!  It was all way good to see her smiling so much!  Maked my purr thing go lots.

Movin' on Up

Momma helped Grammie move into a more purrminute room at the nursing home. She am now on the top floor! Grammie can look out the window and see trees and birdies and not have any beans peeking in the window at her or have lights from the monsters with wheels come in her window at night. She's not very happy which makes me wanna purr by her, but she's doing better now that she's settled in more. A'cause Grammie doesn't have a phone thing yet, Momma gived her the sell phone thing. Grammie's gonna get a new phone thing on Wednesday! I am gonna give it to her for her purrthday!!

A Rockin' Christmas

We sure hadded ourselves a most wonderful Chrissymus! I hopes you all did too. I gotted to visit with Grammie ALL afternoon!! And, I got to go do some Chrissymus visits with the beans where Grammie lives. I got so many pets!!

Momma and me taked our picture in front of one of the Chrissymus trees they hadded there. I'll ask Momma to post them later. Oh! Knows what I had for my Chrissymus feast??!! A WHOLE can of stinky gourmet goodness!! I hadded Turkey Florentine with garden greens. Oh they were most divine :) They maked my belly full and happy after being with Grammie all afternoon.

I gotted a new toy from Momma for Chrissymus! It am a santa on a string and I likes to jump and chase him around. Shmaybe I'll pose for a picture with it soon! Yesterday, I got so into playing with him that when I went to jump, I forgot to look where I was going and landed on the coffee table and pulled Auntie Deb's fancy table cloth right on the floor and a whole bunch of stuff camed down with it!! It plopped right on my bum! I wasn't too too scared or nothin' but Momma laughed really hard. It maked me all way 'barassed so she felt bad and called me over to her. When I got there, she gave me a good pet and smoothed down my fur on my bum a'cause I maked it go up a little.

Well now that Grammie gotted a nice gift from me and Momma. It am a digital frame that holds all kinds of pictures of me, Momma, Auntie Deb, and a whole bunch of beans... but they're mostly pictures of me on there!! Grammie gotted all way a'cited when she opened it! Now she can admire my handsomeness even when I'm not hangin' out on her bed!

I wubs mine Grammie!

Here I am with mine Grammie. She has moved into a new room! Her new roomie am all way nice and pets me and tells me I'm a nice cat :) I go to see mine Grammie when Momma has time to take me. She am all way busy this time of year... I'm kinda used to it by now. I keep the house safe while she am a'hearsing and making songs with her voice and waving at beans...

Momma and me maked Grammie's new room look all way nice for Chrissymus. There am a tree, a stocking and a snowman and all sorts of nice things in her room! She even has a wreath that's made with jingle bells!! Momma let me sniff it a'fore we putted it up. If some of you would like to know Grammie's address, it am all the same except for the room... 202W am her room now. She am pretty sure she am not moving again. Her roomie am a resident like she am. Grammie likes Enid, her roomie... and she likes her room now a'cause it am quiet at night. She gets better sleepies now. Oh! I get to talk to her on the phone thing too!! Momma makes the phone talk to me and Grammie comes out of it and I put mine face all over the phone! I still don't know how Grammie makes herself so tiny and gets in there, but it's all way fun when she does that!!

This week, Momma has her first concert with her middle school beans! But it am a'pposed to make white fluffies come from the sky all day tomorrow so shmaybe she won't hafta do it until Monday... Momma am also making songs with her voice on Sunday! She gets green paper for doing it too!! How a'citing!!! Shmaybe she'll use some of that green paper to buy me goodies. I need some stinky goodness and crunchies a'cause I'm almost out of both! Yikes!!!

I didn't get to go on the um'puter to say happy thanksgiving, but you knows what? I'm all way thankful every day for having a toasty warm house, a Momma and Grammie that wubs me so much and dear kind friends that say hello to me and send kind words to me... I hopes you all had a nice thanksgiving... and I hopes everyfluffy and bean am having a nice a'cember!

Playing with the big boys

Momma wented to her college this weekend a'cause there were fun things going on. They call it "homecoming" but I don't understand that a'cause she didn't come home until very late! She invited some of her bean students to come to our house to play games. I never played games with other beans a'fore...it was all way good fun!

This game that I liked mostest am called "twister". Know what? The beans taked off their shoes and stood on a great big plastic thing with colored dots on it. Momma maked a black stick spin and point to different colors and then she'd tell them what to do. I liked it so much that I a'cided to join in! See mine right paw thing am on the green! Methinks I winned. I dunno how you win but alls I know is that I had a great time playing with them all.

They didn't 'preciate me helping them play "loaded questions" a'cause the kept telling me to stop standing on the board. But deep down, I thinks they liked that I did that. Then they wented into the dining room and played a game called Monotony. What's that Momma? Oh it am not monotony, it am called Monopoly. Psh...same thing! Those beans didn't move for hours!!! Miss Destiny was winning all way good. Momma, she am not so good a'cause she had to sell all her shtuff and even then she went bankrupped. Mr. Mark was a kind bean that I met that night. He am a really nice bean. He knows how to make a poodin' all way comfy around new beans. Mr. Mark picked me up and kissied my head thing and gived me a catnip toy!

It was all way good fun playing with the beans :) Knows what? Them am coming back again sometime real soon a'cause I hearded Momma say so!

I got to see Grammie yesterday. Her roommate, Miss Mary, am living with Momma's daddy now. She wasn't feeling good last week and over two days, she gotted real weak and sleepy...so now she am in heaven. Momma and Grammie cried a little but they're happy to know she am at peace. I gotted to see her last Sunday a'fore she gotted to feeling all way tired. Momma and Grammie said their goodbyes the night a'fore she left. I know that Grammie am not used to the silence in the room, but it made for a nice visit with me. When I gotted there, she gived me treatsies and kissies and all way good pets. When Grammie had to go to bed, Momma and me wented to do some therapy. I walked up and down the hall and went to go visit Miss Claire. She knows me and when I camed into her room, she said "Well hello TImothy!" all way happy and it maked my tail thing jiggle.

I got to meet a bean that has AD and even though she said I was a lovely little doggie, I knowed that she enjoyed my visit anyway. I kinda look like a doggie on a leash! LOL!! The lady's daughter tolded me that I was such a good boy for visiting beans and then she said to Momma that she am giving the residents a lovely gift. What a kind thing to say! Well after all that a'citement, I had to go rest! I curled up on Grammie's bed and didn't wanna leave. It was so comfy up there! So...a'luctantly, I got into my stroller and said my bye-byes to Grammie.

Guess what?? Mr. Hendrix gived me an award for being so sweet to Grammie and the other beans where she lives! Thank you Mr. Hendrix for thinkin' of me! It makes my tail jiggle and my belly all warm :)

TD: Therapy Cat

What's up everybean and fluffy aminal!? It's Saturday today! Know what that means? Mine Momma gets to stay home with me and do shtuff around the house! Today, she gotted up all way early and wented bye bye to the place where they watch her wait. She said that she has lost 20 pounds but I don't know...I haven't seen any around the house so shmaybe she losted them at work?

When she gotted back, she wented for a walk and then stayed with me in the living room. We watched nascar together until our favorite bean gotted a kaboomie. That's when we a'cided to go see Grammie. Instead of using mine stroller, Momma said she thought it would be a fun surprise for me to walk into Grammie's room. It sure did suprise! ME! I gotted into the monster with wheels and we wented all over the roads and came to where Grammie lives. I gotted all way a'scared a'cause there were amblances there and they make lotsa noises... a kind bean helped Momma carry things so that Momma could hold me. I got all way brave when Momma holded me!

When we gotted inside, I trotted right into Grammie's room! I was all way a'cited to see her! She gived me treatsies and lotsa good scritchies on my head thing. I maked my toes go in and out for her a'cause it maked me feel so good! After we visited for a while, beans came in to help Grammie get ready for bed. So, to give her privacy, Momma and me wented out into the hall. I a'cided to go for a walk with Momma. I sneaked into the next room and there was a lady bean there that got all way a'cited to see me!

So, I waited for Momma to ask if she'd like me to visit and she did! I got all way comfy and listened to her story about her own poodin that sounds like it might just be a tuxie like me! The other bean in the room has trouble with her eye things but I could hear her and she called my name which made my tail quiver with a'citement! After we stayed there for a little bit, Momma said we should be heading on and so I waited to hear her make her kissie sound with her lip things and I got up and trotted out with her again.

Off we went down the hall, past the station where all the nurse beans sit. There were some beans in wheelie chairs there so I made sure to put mine shtinky smell on all them. One bean had a neat accent and called me Timity Dickns...like an Irish poodin! It was all way cool! She really knows how to pet a poodin too...gave good scritchies on my bum-bum :)

We went into another room where there was a lady bean in a wheelie chair visiting with her son and daughter-in-law. I knowed they liked me a'cause they said how handsome I was. I'm not one to turn down a compliment! I rolled over on my side so that they could admire my white fluffy belly since they found me so handsome. They really liked that! I got to hear all about their poodin' that used to live with the bean in the wheelie chair. It was a good story. Momma maked her kissie sound so I gotted up and trotted off with my tail held high...

In the next room was a bean that I've seen a'fore. She plays BINGO with Grammie sometimes. She knows me as "the cat in the stroller". See...I go to BINGO too sometimes. It's all way fun to hear the little balls rolling around and around...it makes my ears go back and forth and my eye things get all way BIG. Anyway, I stayed and visited her for a while. Her son was there putting things in the closet so I made sure that the closet was safe by pushing past him and having a good sniff for myself. When I got done with my visit, it was off to see Grammie's dear kind friend. I can't a'member how to spell her name but it's Claire. She's the one that makes the ballies go around and around at BINGO...and she hangs out with Grammie sometimes.

I walked into Claire's room and her roommate said "oh hello Timothy!" Well, I felt right at home there! Miss Mary smiled and said such kind words at me. I sniffed her side of the room and then came over by Claire. She was all way up high in her bed so I didn't get to jump on her...but I did have a nice conversation with her... I said "mew, mroww, meow" and things like that. Momma maked kind words at Claire and Mary and then when I was ready to go, I mewed softly so we said our goodbyes and walked all the way back to Grammie's room.

When we got there, she was all snug in bed and so I jumped up in her window (it was all way dark out a'cause the sun thing went all hidey)...I watched the pond where the water trickles and changes colors. Then a bean came up to the window and said such kind words at me! She said that just seeing me made her heart calmer :) What a kind thing to say! She was sucking on a white thing that smelled all way bad. She laughed and put it up to the screen for me to sniff...it was all way gross. I don't mind that she sucked on it, but I sure wasn't! Yuko! Anyway, she said that she rescued poodins her whole life and saved over 4,000 of them! She says she's an add-vough-kit which didn't mean anything to me, but Momma said it was a good thing. She wented back to sucking on her white stick and I a'cided it was time to come home. I looked at Momma and said so.

Grammie was all way pleased to hear about my visits with the other beans and was all way proud of her grandfurbaby. That maked me happy! So we said our goodbyes and I walked all the way out of the nursing home, in the dark, all the way through the parking lot (where there were all kinds of monsters with wheels sleeping)...and gotted to our monster. Momma thought she was gonna have to hold me, but I waited for her to open the door and then I jumped right into the front seat and sat down. I love to look out the window when we go home...I listen for the clickie sound of the thing that Momma puts on to make turns...that's when I knows we're close a'cause the clickie thing always goes on and the monster with wheels slows down. Tonight was hard to tell though a'cause it was all way dark out. But I gotted out with Momma and went all the way into the house without pulling on my leash or trying to run away! Momma says I'm such a good boy now!

How I Survive Being Home Alone

I knows I knows... it's been a way long time since I said I was gonna put pictures on... but a'member, Momma am teaching beans again so it's kinda hard to get her to sit down and a'lax. So, I happened to get her still for a while and a'cided to sit in my dasani water hut while she helped me blog...

I have to keep myself entertained most of the day until she comes home in the afternoon. I have found that her hairties smell like her mostest of all so I likes to keep at least one near me at all times. That way, I can sniff her and a'member that she's gonna come home again.

I also likes to practice my singing. Grammie suspects that I must do a lotta singing a'cause she says that I'm much louder than ever. It's true! The more you practice somethin' the better you get at it! I've a'come so good at it that when Momma am on the phone thing with Grammie, she can hear me singing all way loud!

I'm also really good at redecorating. Momma says she doesn't always like the changes, but I think deep down she really does. Who wouldn't like a garbage pail turned on it's side?!?! C'mon there's things in there that smell divine!! I also likes to change the decorations in the bedroom on the dresser. How many times do you need to look at the same photos? I just hop up and gently tap them over.

I have found the bestest places to sleep are the ones that are cozy. My favorite place is upstairs on the couch. It's one of those kinds of couches that turns into a bed so it has a comfy comforter on it...I have slept there so much that there's a little nook where I usually go. Also, the dining room table makes for a wonderful shelter for the times I wanna feel like I'm hiding. I sneak in under the table and hide a'hind all the chairs.

My water (I like to call it Wa-Wa) must always be fresh. I have to put mine paw down sometimes to get what I want, but Momma usually a'members to keep the tub faucet dripping a little during the day. Wa-Wa that's been sitting in a bowl all day just doesn't cut it. Yuck! Insist on it being cold and from the tap.

Get yourself a nice toy that lets you stick treatsies into it. This is a great way to keep busy and will pass the time while giving you a'wards at the same time. Momma boughted me a ballie that has a place to stick the treatsies... when she fills it, my tail thing quivers with a'citement! I knows that for a while, I'll be able to forget about mine Momma going bye-bye. I likes to push it gently so that it only rolls a little bit. I check the floor to see if a treatsie popped out, and if it didn't, I tap the ballie again. It's good fun. I definately recommend everycat should have one!

Well, these are just some of my tricks for being stuck at home alone while youre bean is out working to keep your belly full. Do you have any tricks? I'd love to hear them! I almost forgot the most important part of surviving the day! SLEEEEEEPING! It passes the time so well and then gets you all ready for when Momma comes home! I'm gonna go have another nap right now!

Very Sorry!

Hi Everybean and aminal!

It's been all summer since I wrote to y'all last. So very much has happened how could I ever sum it up in one post? Shmaybe I'll do more than one. Yesh. That's a good idea. First, Momma gotted really good mews to share! She am now a teacher full-time again! It's been a while since Momma hadded a full time job. She's gonna teach middle and high school beans how to make music with all kinds of instrument things. I bet she'll even bring some home and play them for me! I like it when she plays music a'cause I like to sing along! Just as Auntie Deb, she hearded me sing and dance to the sound of Momma's straw whistle!

Yesh. Auntie Deb has been here for two whole weeks and wented back home on the metal birdie today. I'm all way sad 'bout that a'cause I always like it when she comes to visit. This time, when she camed out, I got to go on a mini bacation to Dr. Strazza's and got to stay there for a few days. When Momma and Auntie Deb came to get me, they were all sun-kissied and way happy. They wented to the Poke A Nose! Know what they did at poke a nose? They got to see a NASCAR race! Oh Momma said it was all way a'citing and lots of fun to go with her sister. I'll have to share some pictures with you when mine Momma gets back. She am at work right now and I don't know how to make the pictures go on the computer very well.

So...Grammie and I hadded a good visit the other day. She's in a new room but back with her old roomie. This room has carpet on the ground so it's much calmer and quieter in there. Kinda makes it more like a "home" too if you ask me. She has the window bed but this time, she can't see the fancy sunsets a'cause the bed am on the other wall. She's been busy with her crow shay stuff. She's working on a baby blankie but I can't say who it's for in case somebean from the nursing home reads this!

Wanna hear something all way sad? This morning Momma and me sawed a baby deer get hit by a monster with wheels right in front of our house. It was so sad :( The deer gotted up and limped away and Momma was in her PJs...but she still wented outside to see if there was anything she could do (which there wasn't). Nobean was hurt...just the deer and the monster with wheels... oh how it makes me sad to see that happen. I hopes that the deer am ok and just a little shocked and bruised...Momma has looked and looked for it but it runned away.

Oh there was a big kaboomie the day or so after Auntie Deb gotted here! Know what it was??? A great big tree! It got tired and fell asleep in the backyard. Momma wented to try and wake it up, but it was so sleepy that it just didn't wanna get back up. The bean that lives next door camed over a few days later and a'cided to make round circles out of it. Now they're all in a pile where the tree used to stand. It wasn't a very nice tree...lotsa buggies lived in it. I heard Momma say that God watched out for us a'cause that sleepy tree was less than 6 feet from hitting the house. Glad it didn't hit the house. Hitting isn't very nice. I told you it wasn't a nice tree.

I have lotsa pictures to share with you but like I said, Momma am the one that knows how to do that so I'll have to come back and post more later with her help. I hopes you are all staying cool this summer!

Visit wif Grammie

This am me on Grammie's bed. On me, am a little bean named "Selena". Her Mommy wented to high school with mine Momma. Selena camed to visit her Great Grammie, but she ended up coming to visit with me instead ;) Selena knows just how to pet me and make me feel all way good. She put kissies on my head and spoke real soft to me. I likes her.

Here's Grammie with all her cards! Do you see yours on there? If not, they might be hiding a'hind Grammie's wheelie chair. There am so many cards...now Momma has to put them on the closet!

Grammie gotted a big surprise in the mail yesterday. It was from Puff and Spot! Their bean Mom maked a bag and filled it with some string that I'd LOVE to chase! It has scissors and a hook in it too. It's the purrfect size for Grammie to carry with her on the wheelie chair! She says it am so charming...but I thought I was charming?! Sigh Anyway, she wanted to say a special thanks to Puff and Spot and their bean Mom for sending such a kind gift. It maked her smile! And, she's already starting a project!

Grammie wubs getting cards from y'all. She reads them and admires them all the time. Lotsa beans come in the room and ask her about all her cards and she gets to tell them all about the kind beans and aminals we have met online! It's so much fun!! If you'd like to send a card to Grammie, just email mine Momma and she'll give you her address. Make sure in the "subject" it says something about Grammie in case it goes to the spam folder ;)

Ketchup

So it's been a while since I had some good pictures on mine blog. I 'pologize for that! Momma's flashy box had dead batteries in it. For a L-O-N-G time! So now, I get to play "ketchup"! Here I am admiring a lovely string thing that Grammie sended home with Momma for me. Mine Grammie am so thoughtful, she even a'membered me in the get well place! It am her a'loonie from Mother's day. On the end, it has a big jingle bell that likes to bounce around if you play with the string!

I chased the string and a'loonie up into the chair by the door :) I had so much fun trying to catch that a'loonie! Everytime I would get it close, it would fly back up into the air! So I would have to grab the string in mine mouth and pull on it again. It was great fun! Momma laughed so hard at me...well, shmaybe not AT me, but I hopes WITH me!! Now, the a'loonie am up in the bedroom and kinda hopping around on the floor a'cause it's tired. Momma taked off the string and attached it to mine furniture so I can play with the jingle bell!! It's great fun, 'specially at 3 AM!


"Get down here a'loonie!"

Momma's been on a cleaning frenzie the past few days. I dunno why. She's CRAZY! She said that the house looked like a crime scene and all that was missing was the murder! So out camed the scary monster from the closet, the dusty thing that I like to chase around, and the shtinky smells that make the loo shiny. Once she was all done with making the house look all good, she a'cided to clean up some of Grammie's dresser drawers. I knowed she needed me to help her! When she taked out the drawer, I jumped right on in! I swished my tail thing around and dusted it out for her! It was great fun!


This is my "don't even THINK about telling me to come out of here" face.

On Sunday, Momma camed home from church (she wented to the graditation of her 8th grade school beans held at the church) and I showed her mine paw. I picked it up and showed it to her. She thought it was all way cute of me to greet her at the door like that... she even told Grammie who was on the cell phone thing. An hour later, I showed it to her again. That's when she finally got the hint that shmaybe mine paw hurted! (DUH...beans can be so SLOW!) So, she picked me up and a'tended to be Dr. Strazza by poking my tootsies and making me cry so loud and hard that I tried to nibble her fingers off. I didn't bite down, but just let her know that I didn't like what she was doing.

Momma a'cided it would be good to get mine paw wet to see if I had a hurtie. Um...hello? Cat+Water=Major Freakout. I screamed and kicked and spit at her until she let go of me and that's when I a'cided to show her what I thought of her vet skills. I showed her three times on the carpet in the living room. Getting sick wasn't fun though. I knew that Momma didn't mean to hurt and scare me so I wented over and rubbed up against her (while holding mine paw in the air) so after she cleaned up the carpet, she called the ER. They said it would cost lots of green paper and to wait until the morning to see if it got better. It did, but not really a'cause when Momma touched me, I pulled away and started chewing it. So it was off to see Dr. Strazza.

I don't mind going to see Dr. Strazza. It's the idea of being on a cold table while being forced to sit still and let him poke around that I mind. But I did my bestest to be calm. He said mine paw was swollen, but that he couldn't figure out what was the prollem. Momma agreed. She should after the poking she did! I know what caused it but I'm not telling them. So, Dr. Strazza said that I needed a bit of antibiotics and a'fore I knowed what hit me, mine hiney was hurting! He poked me with the sharp thing. It didn't hurt for long though...just enough to make me turn mine head and see if mine hiney was still attached. It was. So it's been a few days now and it doesn't hurt as much as it did so I guess that last poke was worth it. It didn't cost Momma too much either a'cause she had a credit at the vet. That was a nice surprise :)

After Momma brought me home to a'lax from being at Dr. Strazza's, I helped her pack up mine secret paws gift! I can't wait to see what my secret paw thinks! The box am all way BIG and I climbed in it a'fore it was packed up. Who knows, shmaybe YOU'LL be getting mine gift in a few days!

Memorial Day

Happy Memorial Day all you beans and poodins and furry creatures! I hopes everyone had a nice day off from working and spended some time eating some good tasting things. Momma and me, we had shrimps! They were divine.

I gotted to go visit Grammie today. Her roomie moved to a new room (which is an answer to prrrayers) so now Grammie am all by herself, just the way she likes it. Her talking box isn't on all way loud like when her roomie used to have it. It would be on so loud that the speaker things would rattle!!! Oh it maked mine ear things go back and my eye things go big...and she would wake up mine dear Grammie all the time and scare her in the early morning by singing all way loud. So yea, it am good she isn't there anymore. But I still visited her a'cause she likes to see me.

Grammie has a can of treatsies in her drawer and when I got up on her soft squishy bed, she gived me some! She's giving me one in the picture Momma taked. Grammie was all comfy and ready for bed. But a'fore she got in bed, we wented for a ride! I got to sit with Grammie, and Momma pushed Grammies chairs with big wheels! We went vroom vroom all the way down to the "bistro". That am a little shop that you can get ice cream, soda and stuff like that. Grammie's friend, Claire was in there and we stayed there and visited with her. Momma gotted ice cream and a tuna sandwich for lunch...Grammie gotted ice cream, but I gotted nothing. But, that's ok, there was too much going on for me to be interested in food...there were beans walking everywhere and all kinds of interesting noises. I stayed under Grammie's wheeliechair and meowed every now and then.

On the way back to Grammie's room, I walked next to the wheeliechair and Momma said I looked oh so cute! I was wearing mine bandanana that has stars and stripes on it for Memorial day. All the beans that sawed me said how handsome I was and how clever that I was dressed for the holly day. It maked me prrrroud :) When we gotted back into Grammie's "quiet" room, I got on the bed with her and curled up next to her. It maked her all way happy! She was gettin' her bed ready to watch the talking box and I sawed her hand thing and a'cided to put mine head on it to show her how I wubs her oh so much. I falled a'sleep on her hand...Grammie said I was snoring (tee-hee!).

As I was a'laxing on Grammie's bed, I was admiring all the cards that she has! There's so many! Some of them are from you guys! She said that they make her all the way happy when she looks at them. Knows what? She gotted the most beautiful broach from Miss Robyn! It am a tuxie broach! I'll have to see if I can get a picture of it so you can all admire it. How kind it was of the HOTmBC and their bean Mom to send mine Grammie such a lovely get well giftie! You guyses, Grammie wanted me to say thank you for it and she'll wear it when she has her sweater on :) It'll look all way good on it! Oh and when I was sleeping with Grammie, a bean camed in and a'livered mail! Knows what? Grammie gotted a card from Tiki and Riley! It was all pretty with flower pictures on the front. It maked Grammie get a big happy smile on her face which maked me purrrr... If you'd like to send Grammie a card, mine Momma can give you the address. She has it memorized LOL!!

Well, I'm off to curl up in mine perch to watch the birdies enjoy their Memorial Day dinner a'fore the kaboomies in the sky start. Last night, I hearded them from far away! Momma says tonight if there's any, she's gonna go chase them down! (I sure hopes she doesn't bring them back here a'cause they're all way loud and BIG!)

Fire Drill!

Today, Momma and me wented to PetSmart all way early in the morning. I meowed my way through the store and Momma gotted me all nice stinky goodness and litter. She even gotted me a new nip pillow! Oh it was divine to sniff that good fresh nip all through the store!! When we got back in the monster with wheels, she tolded me that we were gonna go see Grammie! Oh how a'cited I was!!

So when we gotted to Grammie's, I hugged Momma until get gotted into her room. I stuck my head around the curtain and saw Grammie and she gave me a great big smile! I stayed on her blanket and made sure there was a lot of my fur on it! (tee-hee!!). Grammie opened a can of treatsies that Momma gotted on sale at PetSmart and I enjoyed a few while she pet me. Then when I was all way comfy, there was a strange noise and a flashy light that kept going off! I made big eyes and snuck into the closet by Grammie's bed. Momma laughed at me a'cause my whole body was out in the open, but I had my head a'hind Grammie's old leg brace. But what she doesn't know is that if I can't see the scary woo-woo truck that came, then they can't see me if I hide my head!! Still, she laughed good and hearty along with Grammie.

Today Grammie am feeling all way good a'cause she gotted a great big needle poke in her right knee thing. That am not the leg she hurt, but a'cause it has been carrying all her weight for so many weeks, it gotted all hurty. So the doctor taked her off of coo-mah-din and gived her court-a-zone in that knee thing. So today she says she thinks she might have a good therapy session. I sure hope so! I miss her oh so much...I meow all the time at home now.

Back to the woo-woo truck. When I peeked my head outside, I could see monsters with wheels that had flashy lights on top and great big truck things that came crying up the street. Momma hugged me and said I was being a very good boy a'cause I didn't try to run away and the noise didn't bother me after a few seconds. The woo-woo truck thing wented away and Grammie said it was just a fire drill. Why do you think they were drilling for fire at the nursing home? I've never heard of drilling for fire a'fore...oil, yesh...but fire? Beans are all way strange sometimes.

So after the woo-woo truck thing left and the noise and flashy lights wented away, I was allowed to walk around again and I visited Grammie's roommate, Mary. She likes me oh so much. When she smiles, it makes me happy a'cause she tells me how handsome I am and that I'm welcome to visit any time I want. Well, I a'cided that I would! I hopped up on her bed and gotted all comfy on top of her mewspapers. I stayed there so long that Momma was late getting to school! (oops) So now I'm home and all way a'laxed. I'm gonna go lay in my perch and sniff the good fresh air and enjoy the goldfinches as they sing in the flowery bush. Have a good day everybean!

OH! I almost forgotted to tell you! Grammie has been getting her special cards and "get well nuggets" and she loves them all! They're hanging on the wall in front of her bed so that she can always look at them :) She wanted me to tell you all "thank you". You are all way kind for sending Grammie get well cards. They make her oh so happy, you have no idea!!!!

a no picture kinda day...

The only reason it's a "no picture kinda day" is a'cause Momma am not home to put the pictures on here for me. Did everyone read that our dear Purresident am in heaven now? It's very sad mews yesh...but Larry was such a great friend to all of us! A handsome bloke if I do say so myself... I sure will miss him though. But him am in heaven with mine Grampa. Momma always tells me how much I would have loved him and that he would have played all way hard with me. Shmaybe he'll play with me when I meet him someday (waaaaaaay in the future!)

So I'm sure you are all wondering why I haven't been around here lately. Well the truth is, Momma (mine secretary) has been all way busy again. Concerts galore! In fact, she maked music sounds for the first time in a long time! She didn't hafta wave her hands, she got to sing!! I loves it when she sings a'cause I get all calm and curl up. Momma always jokes and says "music calms the beast" but I think there's some truth to that! Anyway, she singed with Sandi Patty! She says some of the beans might know her name. She has always wanted to sing like her and beans tell her that she even sounds like her sometimes! What a compliment!! So yea, on Friday, Momma gotted to sing back-up for her and she hasn't stopped talking about how much fun it was.

She has one more concert this Friday. This one, she hasta wave her hands and a stick at the little beans while they play music on the handbells. Then she says it will be done for a while. Good! A'cause I miss her.

I gotted to go see Grammie for Mother's day!! It was oh so much fun! Well, not really...but once we were there and Grammie closed her room door it was fun! I got to sniff around, I put shtinky rub all over her wheelie chair... and the bean that she lives with there always makes a fuss when I visit. So, I put on my bestest tuxedo and red tie to visit :) Grammie gotted all way nice things from Momma and Auntie Deb. I gived her a MUTTS book so that she can laugh all day long :) They're the bestest comics!

We got to go outside and sit by the wawa fountain that's right outside Grammie's window. Sometimes the ducks go in there but not anymore. There's a spout that makes the water look fancy and the ducks don't like it. Knows what!? Oh do you know!? I sawed birdies eating on the ground really close to me!!! My eye things were buggin' out man! Woah I had to a'strain myself from going over and chasing them!!! When we went back inside, the NASCAR race was almost over so Grammie and Momma let me rest while they watched the end. Momma maked "YES" noises real soft so she didn't wake me up. She's so thoughtful!

The bean that lives with Grammie hadded visitors. One was her grand daughter and the other was her great grand daughter...she was only 4 years old! She told me how handsome and beautiful I was and Momma let her pet me! Grammie was nervous that I was gonna be naughty, but I showed her! That little bean, Eva, she knows just how to pet a poodin. She has one at her house and says that she pets him all the time. She sure did...she pet me so soft and calmly that I fell asleep right there on her arm!!! Grammie and Momma thought it was so cute ;) But what else did they expect from me!? LOL!!!

So I'm sure you want a Grammie medicul update right? Well...here's the mews that's fit to print. Grammie am allowed to put weight on her left leg now so when she goes for therapy, they make her stand and it hurts her knee things oh so much, but she's tryin' real hard to get better and stands for 2 minutes at a clip!! Go Grammie!!!! The pill that she takes for her cancer is working too. Her tumor has shrunk down! Momma was so happy that her eyes leaked when she heard that! We'll have to keep purraying a'cause it's working! She sometimes gets lonely and sad, but that's why I gotted her the MUTTS book...so that she can get out of her sad funk and start laughing again :) If you'd like to send a card to Grammie (a'cause I KNOWS she would love love LOVE that, please email mine Momma and she'll give you the address).
